This room had an odor problem. We removed the old paneling and discovered water from a previous back up had been soaked up behind the wall that turned into mildew issues.
We remediated the problem, and finished the room with drywall. We built a 4' x 7' walk in closet to solve a storage problem. The corner space was wired for desk equipment with new carpeting for the cold winter months.
This home had an unfinished basement with a laundry area in one corner. It had poor lighting, nowhere to put baskets of clothes, a concrete floor, and had a bunch of wires hanging overhead.
We removed the old paneling from 1972 and rejuvenated the space!
They now have a brightly lit, all drywall room with a folding table on the side; a tiled shelf behind the machines; a small shelf in the corner for the ironing; and waterproof vinyl plank flooring.
This home had a "creepy" basement that no one ever used because it was dark & cold.
We installed faux barn wood on one wall and used the existing vintage work bench, added lighting, drywall, carpet, and built a new bar top.
